"Sailing, cycling, kayaking and climbing from the UK to Morocco... what an inspired challenge! I have no doubt that for everyone involved and for those following it will be a real voyage of discovery. Best of luck" - Mark Beaumont

In august we will set off sailing across the channel from the south coast of England to the North coast of France, here we will begin our 2600km cycle travelling South along the West coast of France, where we will aim to cover around 60-70 miles per day, camping in various locations. We will then cross the Pyrenees Mountains, entering Spain, and continue to the most southerly point of Spain. We will then make the 14km crossing of the Gibraltar strait by kayak. The final leg of our journey will see us cycle to Asni in Morocco where we will make an accent of Jbel Toubkal (North Africa's highest peak).

We are a team of young adventurous students who want to step out of the ordinary, push limits, and foster the spirit of adventure. On our journey we will maintain a low carbon foot print, leave no trace, and where possible improve the environment we are in. We will end the trip with a visit to a local Moroccan community to donate the money raised.
